Where to Find Your Deposit Records and Transaction Hash on Binance

· About 12 min · CoinWiki Editorial

Whether you want to confirm a deposit has arrived or need to gather information for support, you need to know how to find your deposit records. Many beginners spend a long time navigating around the Binance app looking for the right section β€” but the path is actually straightforward.

Checking on the App

After Download Binance App, follow these steps:

Viewing On-Chain Deposit Records

  1. Open the Binance app
  2. Tap "Assets" in the bottom navigation bar
  3. On the assets page, find "Transaction History" or the small icon in the top-right corner
  4. Switch to the "Deposit" tab
  5. All your deposit records are listed here

Tapping on a specific entry shows detailed information, including:

  • Coin name
  • Deposit amount
  • Amount credited
  • Network used
  • Deposit address
  • Transaction hash (TxID)
  • Status (Completed / Processing / Confirming)
  • Time

Viewing C2C Purchase Records

C2C trade records are in a different location:

  1. Tap "Trade" at the bottom
  2. Select "C2C"
  3. Tap "Orders" or "Order History"
  4. All C2C trade details are listed here

Each C2C record includes the order number, merchant info, execution price, payment method, and more.

Checking on the Web

Desktop path:

  1. Log in to the Binance website
  2. Hover over the profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Click "Orders" then "Deposit/Withdrawal History"
  4. Or navigate through "Wallet" then "Transaction History"

The web version's advantage is a more complete display, plus support for filtering by time range, coin, status, and other criteria. Exporting records is also easier on the web.

If you haven't registered yet, create an account through Register on Binance.

What Is a TxID and Why Does It Matter?

TxID stands for Transaction ID, also known as a transaction hash. It's the unique identifier for every on-chain transaction β€” like a tracking number for a package.

What TxID Is Used For

Checking on-chain status. Copy the TxID into the corresponding blockchain explorer and you can see all on-chain details: sender, recipient, amount, confirmation count, time, and more.

Evidence for support. If a deposit has issues, the first thing support will ask for is the TxID. It's needed to precisely locate your transaction.

Proving transaction authenticity. TxIDs are public blockchain records that anyone can verify and cannot be forged.

TxID Formats for Different Chains

  • TRC20: A long alphanumeric string
  • ERC20/BEP20: A 66-character string starting with "0x"
  • BTC: A 64-character hexadecimal string

Which Explorers to Use

Network Blockchain Explorer
TRC20 tronscan.org
ERC20 etherscan.io
BEP20 bscscan.com
BTC blockchain.com or mempool.space
SOL solscan.io

What If the Deposit Doesn't Show in Records?

Just Deposited

If you sent it just minutes ago, Binance may not have detected your transaction yet. Refresh the page or wait a few minutes and check again.

Filter Issue

Make sure you haven't selected the wrong coin or time range. Try browsing all recent records without any filters first.

Possible Wrong Network or Address

If you definitely sent a transaction and it's confirmed on-chain, but Binance has absolutely no record, the deposit address or network was likely wrong. Binance can't automatically detect a transaction on a network it wasn't expecting.

You can use the TxID on a blockchain explorer to check whether the receiving address matches the one you copied from Binance. If they don't match, the issue is with the address.

C2C Records Are Elsewhere

Just a reminder: C2C purchase records and on-chain deposit records are in different sections. If you made a C2C trade, look in the C2C orders page.

Exporting Transaction Records

If you need a complete record for tax filing, accounting, or other purposes:

  1. Log in to the Binance web version
  2. Go to "Orders" then "Transaction History"
  3. Set the time range
  4. Click "Export"
  5. Choose CSV format to download

The exported CSV file can be opened in Excel and contains detailed information for all transactions.

Binance also supports data export via API. If you use a third-party crypto tax tool, you can sync data directly through the API.

FAQ

Do deposit records expire?

No. Binance permanently saves all your transaction records. But it's a good idea to periodically back them up yourself.

If I delete a deposit record, can it be recovered?

Binance doesn't allow users to delete transaction records, so there's no need to worry about recovery. Everything you see is complete.

The amount shown on the sending side and Binance are different?

This is normal. The sending side shows the amount you sent, while Binance shows the amount actually credited. The difference is the network fee (deducted on the sending side).

How do I know which chain my deposit used?

The deposit record details will indicate the network used. If network info isn't in the record, search the TxID across different blockchain explorers β€” whichever one finds it is the corresponding chain.

Security Reminder

When viewing transaction records, make sure you're using official channels. Log in through the official entry from Register on Binance β€” don't click ad links from search engines.

Some phishing sites mimic Binance's appearance. If you enter your credentials on one, scammers can access your real account. Save the official Binance URL in your browser bookmarks and always access it from there.

Viewing records in the genuine Download Binance App is the safest approach. Enable biometric login (fingerprint or face recognition) for both convenience and security.
