Many people trade on Binance for a year or two without ever checking how much they've spent on fees. Looking it up might shock you, but knowing this number helps you better control costs.
Log in at the Binance official site to view your fee records, or download the APK to check in the app.
Checking on the Web Version
Step one: Log into the Binance website and click the avatar in the top-right to enter the "Dashboard."
Step two: In the left menu, find "Orders" > "Spot Orders" > "Trade History."
Step three: In the trade history list, each completed trade shows the corresponding fee amount and currency.
For summary data, export your trade records to an Excel spreadsheet and use a SUM formula to calculate total fees.
Checking in the App
Step one: Open the Binance App and tap "Assets" at the bottom.
Step two: Tap the statement icon in the top-right (or go to "Transaction History").
Step three: Filter by "Fee" record types and view by time period.
Checking Futures Fees
Futures fees need to be checked separately:
Step one: Go to the "Futures" page and tap "Trade History."
Step two: Each futures trade record includes fee information.
Step three: Funding rate expenses are found separately under "Funding Rate History."
Exporting Complete Trade Records
For a full fee summary, exporting data is the most convenient method:
Step one: On the web, go to "Orders" > "Spot Orders" > "Export" in the top-right.
Step two: Select the time range. Each export covers a maximum of 3 months β export multiple times for longer periods.
Step three: Choose the export format, typically CSV.
Step four: Click "Generate," wait for processing to complete, then download.
Note that spot and futures records need to be exported separately.
What to Do After Checking
After seeing your total fee number, don't just gasp β analyze it:
Which trading pairs generated the most fees? Was it due to frequent trading of low-volume tokens?
Did you have BNB deduction enabled? If not, calculate how much you could have saved.
What's the ratio of Maker to Taker orders? Could you use more limit orders?
Periodically reviewing fee spending is a great habit. Spend a few minutes each month checking, adjust your trading strategy promptly, and save a significant amount over the long term.
